TOOL INSPECTION PICK & PLACE

QComp provides unique solutions to provide value added functionality to our robotic systems. The tool inspection system providing automated material feed hoppers to present rough cast tools to a robot which picks the part and presents it to two separate vision systems for feature and quality inspection. If the piece fails inspection it is placed in a reject bin, if it passes the part is orientated and placed on a second conveyor for transport to the second delta robot. The second robot will pick the piece and place it in the CNC machine for final shaping. The QComp system incorporated a bulk hopper feed system and vibratory separator to spread the parts on the belt. Several conveyors for transport of the parts, two vision inspection systems, two vision guided.
