RANDOM PART COLLATING PICKER

QComp has engineered and installed many variations of feeding random parts into fixed automation equipment. The high speed vision and custom application of tooling designed by QComp provides a robust flexible solution for our customers. The molded products above needed to be aligned in marching order for downstream assembly equipment. The QComp vision and tooling allowed the robot to pick two pieces separately and place them at one time onto the take away conveyor. The double pick tool improved the throughput of the cell. Pieces not picked where returned back to the front of the robot cell. The cell consisted of the delta robot, several conveyors, a part hopper, vision, lighting and a control system.
