Robotic bag palletizing is a cost effective way to palletize up to 25 large bags per minute (50 pound bags).

Advantages:

• The ABB IRB 660 4-axis palletizing robot with long reach and high payload will be utilized in the system.

• A mechanical clamshell style gripper is used to pick up bags.

• The gripper can also be designed to pick up slipsheets and empty pallets if required.

• PickMaster 5 software makes it easy to program the robot for all the palletizing tasks.

• The system can be equipped with a laser guided vehicle to bring empty pallets to the cell and take full pallets back.
